I am a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Missouri, working with Dr. Tuan D. Nguyen and Dr. J. Cameron Anglum on a project examining the STEM teacher workforce. I am interested in understanding social and educational inequality in schools and homes. My research primarily focuses on policies and programs that support teacher recruitment, development, and retention and their relationship to student learning environments.

I completed my Ph.D. training in Education Policy in Social Context at the University of California, Irvine, advised by Dr. Emily Penner. I hold an M.Ed. in International Education Policy and Management from Vanderbilt University and a BA in Sociology from Peking University.

I am currently on the job market, looking for opportunities to contribute my skills in education policy research and teaching!
